Speaker: Jacob Isleib, Connecticut NRCS

Description: NRCS staff from Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island will orient you to the fundamentals of forest soils and digging deeper highlighting forest soils in New England. This workshop will address accessing soil data and applications of using the data in tandem with LiDAR terrain derivatives. An overview of available USDA Forest Programs in the current Farm Bill will be provided as well.
