For the third webinar in this series, presenters will explore ways to further develop your forestry career. Topics include developing leadership skills, conflict resolution, and joining a board of directors.

This webinar is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Learning objectives
Upon successful completion of this webinar, you will be able to:
1. Identify tools for developing leadership skills.
2. Identify skills needed to serve on a board of directors.
3. Share at least two ways of resolving conflict in the workplace.
Rubric
Successful completion of the webinar is measured by viewing the entire webinar and completing the evaluation.

Participant feedback is appreciated to help SAF and presenters continually improve webinars for future programming.
CFEs
Upon successful completion of this webinar, you will earn 1.5 CFEs in Category 1. CFEs will automatically be added to your CFE record located on www.eforester.org.
Certificate
Upon successful completion of this webinar and the evaluation, participants may download and print a certificate verifying completion of the webinar and earning CFEs. CFEs will be uploaded to participant CFE records by the end of the day (11:59 pm ET).

Since joining the company in 2013, he has held roles spanning forest certification, sustainability strategy, policy advocacy, and communications. In his current role, David translates customer insights into actionable strategies that enhance customer experience and advance the company’s stewardship priorities.

Madison Gore

Madison Gore is the current Chair of the Oklahoma Division of SAF. She attended Oklahoma State University, obtaining her bachelor's degree in Forestry in 2020 and master's degree in Natural Resource Economics & Human Dimensions in 2022. Her master's research included evaluating the economic impacts of Wildlife Management Areas in Oklahoma, which provided important data for her work today. Currently, Madison is working with state agencies, the USDA Forest Service, and non-profit partners in the effort to acquire Oklahoma's 1st State Forest, the Musket Mountain Forest in southeast Oklahoma.

Pamela holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and an MBA from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, and is pursuing her doctoral degree in Organizational Management.
