Webinar information
The Urban Wood Standards for North America have been created to help ensure traceability and credibility of urban wood products as well as the organizations providing them; they are intended to be easy to use, time saving and value adding. The insights gained from a pilot test of such standards will be instrumental for Urban Salvaged and Reclaimed Woods Inc. (USRW), helping them to deliver enhanced value to the sector. The pilot is intended to identify issues or obstacles in adopting the Standards for Certification and Chain of Custody for Urban, Salvaged, and Reclaimed Woods as well as any revisions that may be needed to the first version of these standards. The pilot process will aid in identifying strengths, weaknesses, and gaps, providing valuable insights on the most effective methods to implement the standards on a larger scale. Then, reviews and feedback from pilot testers will be taken into consideration when making revision recommendations. This webinar will review primary objectives of this pilot as well as speak to next steps in this pilot program.
