This live discussion webinar – hosted by SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry’s Dr. Marianne Patinelli-Dubay – is an introduction to thinking about forest management through the lenses of community flourishing and personal virtue. Gain valuable knowledge on formulating questions and developing insights about whether a management decision serves the welfare of a particular group, and how to hold the needs of the community together with your personal values. During this discussion, a case study related to the subject material will be reviewed. This live discussion will expand upon ideas brought up in the microcourse A Forester's Guide to Aligning Community Good with Individual Virtue, but participation in that course is not required for this robust live discussion.
