The 2025 FIA National User Group Meeting will take place November 12–14, 2025. This annual gathering, hosted by SAF and NCASI, brings together the USDA Forest Service’s Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) team and the wider forestry community to share ideas, insights, and priorities. FIA provides essential, long-term data on the condition and trends of America’s forests, supporting decision-making for managers, policymakers, and the public. In this virtual meeting, we will explore the program budget, staffing, & current priorities; identify existing and new stakeholder priorities; and identify topics of focus for the 2026 FIA National User Group Meeting.

This webinar is intended for anyone interested in the USFS FIA program, applications of FIA data, large-scale forest modeling, including foresters, landowners, and natural resource professionals in government or private practice.

This FIA National User Group meeting will take place in a webinar and meeting format over the course of three days. Its overview schedule is below, and can be found in the "Handouts" tab. The Zoom Webinar/Meeting platform will be used for the presentation. Be sure to connect to the webinar using a device approved to access Zoom.

Webinar sessions will be hosted on the following dates and times (All times in ET):

- Wednesday, November 12 from 12-5 PM

- Thursday, November 13 from 12-4 PM

- Friday, November 14 from 12-3:15 PM

CFEs will automatically be added to your CFE record located on www.eforester.org by the end of the day (11:59 pm ET).

Certificate

Upon successful completion of this webinar and evaluation, participants may download and print a certificate verifying completion of the webinar and earning SAF CFEs. CFE certificates will only be available until January 1, 2026 at 12:00 am ET.
