Resources Planning Act Assessment: Past, Present, and Future Perspectives on Assessing US Forests
Over the last five decades, the US Forest Service has continually re-invented the Resources Planning Act (RPA) Assessment, which combines biological and socioeconomic sciences for an integrated assessment of the future of America’s forests and rangelands to inform forest policy and management issues across scales. Insights and examples are presented.
Presented by Linda Langner, USDA Forest Service, at the 2017 SAF National Convention, Albuquerque, NM
