SAF recognizes excellence and outstanding achievements of individuals and organizations in the field of forestry and natural resources through our awards programs.
This year we celebrate and honor scientists, researchers, educators, innovators, leaders, communicators, field foresters, and students that are making significant impacts to forestry in the United States and internationally.

National Award Winner Meet and Greet
Thursday, October 29
2:30-3:30 p.m. ET
This interactive forum will provide attendees the opportunity to engage directly with award winners. Hosted by SAF President Tammy Cushing, award winners will be introduced as a group, and then split into three groups of four for a more casual interaction experience. Attendees can move from room to room to learn about their colleagues. Bring your burning questions and be prepared to get inspired by these amazing award winners.

Don’t miss the opportunity to cheer on our Presidential Field Foresters during the SAFter Party. These foresters have dedicated their professional careers to the application of forestry on the ground using sound, scientific methods and adaptive management strategies.
