This webinar will host the CEOs of the Society of American Foresters and International Society of Arboriculture who will discuss current partnerships between SAF and ISA, how COVID-19 has impacted urban forestry, diversity in the industry, and student development, among other topics emergent through viewers’ questions. This webinar is brought to you by SAF's Urban and Community Forestry (B2) Working Group.

Learning objectives
Upon successful completion of this short course, you will:
1. Understand how SAF and ISA are working together towards shared goals for their members involved with urban forestry.
2. Know how the organizations are both addressing diversity within urban forestry.
3. Learn about how the organizations intersect in their student and professional development activities regarding urban forestry.
4. Learn how the urban forestry field is responding to COVID-19 and what the professional organizations are doing to help.
Rubric
Successful completion of the webinar is measured by viewing the entire live webinar and completing the evaluation. Viewing the archived webinar for CEUs and CFEs requires a passing score (80%) on the quiz.
Evaluation
Participant feedback is appreciated to help the working group and presenters continually improve webinars for future programming.
CFEs
Upon successful completion of this course, you will earn 1.0 CFEs in Category 1. CFEs will automatically be added to your CFE record located on www.eforester.org. This webinar is also approved for 1.0 ISA CEUs.
Certificate
Upon successful completion of this webinar and the evaluation, participants may download and print a certificate verifying completion of the course and earning CFEs. CFEs will be uploaded to participant CFE records by the end of the day (11:59 pm ET).

Caitlyn Pollihan
CEO, International Society of Arboriculture
Caitlyn Pollihan has served as the executive director of the Council of Western State Foresters (CWSF) and the Western Forestry Leadership Coalition (WFLC) since 2009. In this role, she facilitated the development of the organization’s strategic goals and agendas and worked with members and CWSF/WFLC staff to ensure the organization’s success. Prior to this role, Caitlyn was the CWSF/WFLC governmental affairs director where she was instrumental in the passage of key legislation and educating CWSF and WFLC members on legislative proposals and national policy with western implications.
Caitlyn previously served as the staff vice president for government and environment affairs for the Home Builders Association of St. Louis and Eastern Missouri. In this role, she worked on state and local legislative initiatives, green building programs, and helped create and implement a ground‐breaking approach to building site safety inspections with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Caitlyn serves on several national coalitions and committees, such as the USDA Planning Rule Implementation Federal Advisory Committee and the American Society of Association Executives’ Public Policy Committee. She also participates in the USDA Forest Service State and Private Forestry Board.
Caitlyn holds a bachelor’s degree in contemporary media and journalism/public relations from the University of South Dakota and a master’s degree in organizational communication from the University of Missouri‐St. Louis. She has a Certificate in Nonprofit Organization Management from the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Institute for Organization Management and has earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential, the highest professional credential in the association industry.
